BOWMANSTOWN, PA - The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company responded to a reported brush fire on Municipal Road, April 10th. When units arrived, they saw many burning automobiles. In order to prevent the fire from spreading beyond the surrounding region, crews quickly launched a fire attack. Suppression efforts were aided by mutual aid from Mahoning Valley Fire Company No. 1 and the East Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department.
