WEATHERSFIELD, VT - West Weathersfield Fire Department responded to a working brush fire on Plains Road with exposure to a nearby home, April 12th. Engines 1 and 7, along with Tanker 1, responded with 10 members and quickly went to work protecting the structure. Firefighters focused on containing the advancing fire and preventing extension to the residence, utilizing coordinated suppression and water supply operations. Their rapid response and teamwork helped bring the situation under control and protect the property.
