South Hackensack, NJ - The South Hackensack Fire Department responded to a report of smoke coming from the roof of a commercial structure on Leuning Street. Upon arrival, command confirmed smoke showing from the roof of a one story building.

Firefighters conducted a swift investigation and located a fire within a rooftop solar panel unit. Crews quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further extension. Mutual aid from Little Ferry and Hackensack Fire Department assisted on scene, supporting operations and ensuring the incident was handled efficiently.
