Rollover Crash with Entrapment Handled by Station 60 Crews

Ashville— April 3— At 9:09 a.m. on Good Friday, Station 60 firefighters were called to a car collision with entrapment in the 1600 block of Black Snake Road.
Chief 60 arrived to find a pickup truck had turned over and struck a tree, leaving a female occupant locked within the cab. Rescue 60 crews initiated stabilization as the vehicle rested on its side near the edge of an embankment.
Firefighters used Hurst rescue tools to gain access, removing the roof to complete a controlled extrication. After removal, EMS staff helped with patient care.
The incident required coordinated operations to secure the vehicle and safely access the patient in a limited space. No additional details on the patient’s condition were released.
