Pittsburgh, PA - Bauerstown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported garage fire in the 317 district, where the first arriving officer established command and confirmed a working fire involving a detached structure.

Engine 247 assumed first-due responsibilities upon arrival, initiating fire attack operations. Engine 259 was assigned to assist and responded directly to the scene, with crews conducting suppression and overhaul of the garage.

Thanks to coordinated efforts by responding engine companies, the fire was quickly brought under control and prevented from extending to nearby structures. Command held the incident to units on scene, returning additional resources.
