YORK, PA — March 20th — Rescue 57 and the Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Station 57 arrived at an active incident to support the York County Advanced Technical Rescue Team. A synchronized technical rescue reaction was carried out by Southern York County EMS and units such as MICU 95-21 and Supervisor 95. For situations including tight spaces, rope rescue, trench operations, and structure collapse, the ATR Team offers unique expertise.

In order to enable safe operations, crews used technical equipment and skilled workers under a single command structure. Regional response systems, according to officials, enable the prompt deployment of specialist resources throughout the county. Until operations were finished and the units were freed by command, they stayed on the site.
