2nd Alarm Fire Damages East St. Home in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, CT - A two-alarm fire damaged a two-and-a-half story home at 552 East Street on April 9th.
Firefighters had heavy fire from the front of the building on arrivel. One person was reported to possibly be trapped on the second floor, but was found later to be outside the home. Firefighters quickly knocked down the heavy fire then moved in to extinguish the rest.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
