Waltham, MA - A female driver smashed into a utility pole in front of 139 Charles Street in Waltham on April 4th, Easter Sunday. Waltham Engine 4 and Medic 1 were dispatched. Because the woman was stuck in her Jeep, Lt. Tom Roche requested Squad 5. Engine 4, however, was able to remove the woman and canceled the Squad. She was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with unknown injuries. This was the second accident involving a vehicle hitting a utility pole on Easter Sunday.
