Wellsville, NY - On the afternoon of March 30 at approximately 12:50 PM, the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched for mutual aid to Genesee for a reported brush fire. A tanker and brush truck responded to the scene.

WVFD crews assisted alongside the Genesee Township Volunteer Fire/EMS Department Station 37 until the fire was brought under control and ultimately extinguished. All responding units have since returned to service.
