Early Morning Calls Keep Old Saybrook First Responders Busy

OLD SAYBROOK, CT - Old Saybrook firefighters and police had an active start to Thursday morning, March 26th, responding to multiple incidents within a short span of time. At approximately 7:44 a.m., Ladder 1 crews were dispatched to a Research Parkway office building to investigate reports of possible misfiring rooftop heating units. The situation was assessed, and fortunately, no health issues were reported. The Fire Marshal conducted a follow-up investigation. Later, at 9:22 a.m., firefighters responded to a commercial building on Donnelley Road following a fire alarm activation.
