Rescue 44 Assists at Single-Car Accident in Oxford

OXFORD, CT — May 4th — After an automatic crash notice on Towner Road was upgraded to a reported single-vehicle collision with the car off the road, the Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company went to the scene. Car 1, Engine 41, Rescue 44, Oxford Emergency Medical Services, and the Oxford Police Department were among the units that responded.
In addition to helping with patient care and scene safety procedures, crews found the car. EMS took one occupant to a nearby hospital for assessment. In the event of a traffic emergency, automatic crash notification systems continue to assist dispatchers in promptly identifying potential collisions and enhancing response times.
