Auburn, NY - On March 18 at 17:32, local firefighters were dispatched to assist the Cayuga Fire Department with a structure fire on Genesee Street. Engine 1 and Engine 2 responded promptly to the scene.
During the operation, an automatic fire alarm was triggered on Wheat Street, prompting part of the Engine 2 crew to divert and address the secondary incident.
All units successfully completed their assignments and returned to service by 18:57. The Cayuga Fire Department was commended for their swift response, quickly gaining control of the fire on the third floor.
