Baldwinsville, NY — March 2nd — In response to a reported house fire, firefighters from Department Baldwinsville Vol. Fire Company, located at 7911 Crego Rd., Baldwinsville, NY, United States, 13027, arrived with Engine 11 to help the Pennellville Volunteer Fire Department. Engine 11 was sent out as part of the mutual aid assignment, which Onondaga County volunteer fire departments frequently carry out. When working structure fires occur, mutual help guarantees that more firefighters and equipment are available.
The Baldwinsville crew was sent to Pennellville to provide operational support and labor. Crews were prepared to help with search and rescue efforts, fire suppression, and other tasks assigned by the incident commander. Partnerships for mutual aid between Baldwinsville and nearby departments support the region's ability to effectively respond to structural fires and other significant emergencies.
