Stamford Fire Responds to Alarm Activation and Medical Emergency

February 16, 2026 — The Stamford Volunteer Fire Department handled two recent calls for service, including a canceled fire alarm and a medical emergency response. On February 15 at 10:46 p.m., Stamford Fire was dispatched to a reported fire alarm activation but was canceled enroute by the alarm company prior to arrival. The following morning, February 16 at 9:50 a.m., Stamford Fire, along with NBEMS, responded to a medical emergency, providing assistance and patient care before clearing the scene and returning to service.
