Mutual Aid Crews Contain Garage Fire in Bergholz

Niagara Falls, NY — March 5th — The Bergholz Fire Company received a mutual aid call from the Department Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station 914th Fire Department regarding a reported garage fire that was emitting smoke from the back of a house and the garage. When the Bergholz chief came first, he verified that there was a fire in the adjoining garage. The 914th Fire Department's Engine 8 arrived as the first-due engine company, followed by Chief 2.


Firefighters were divided into two crews, one of which advanced a line for a fire attack while the other searched the house. The fire was swiftly controlled and put out in the garage. There were no reported injuries, and the house only had minimal smoke damage.
