PASSAIC, NJ - Passaic 911 dispatch was lighting up with calls on a report of a fire at 127 Hope Ave., just five blocks from fire headquarters, just after 12pm on March 7th. The fire was in a one-story frame religious store. Everyone was out of the store prior to the fire department's arrival. Firefighters were able to find two cats; one was administered O2 and was doing ok, the other unfortunately had perished.
