WALTHAM, MA - At 9:35 P.M. on March 12th, Waltham Fire received a call for a two-car accident on I-95 North, near Winter Street, with one car on its roof and on fire. Engines 2 and 7, along with Rescue 1 and Medic 1 were dispatched.

When firefighters arrived they found a black Toyota deep in the woods, on its side and on fire. Engine 4 was special called to stand by on the Winter Street bridge in the event they needed more water. Firefighters searched the area and found the female driver talking with bystanders.

There was a possibilty the driver was racing with another driver at the time of the crash. Mass State Police did a sobriety test on her and she refused medical attention.
