Members of Arkport Hose Company No. 1 Inc. responded to multiple events from March 1 to March 7.

in March 1 at 3:10 p.m., the department was ordered to provide mutual aid to the North Hornell Volunteer Fire Department for a reported structure fire in the 7000 block of Seneca Road North in Hornellsville. Initial reports stated that a rucksack was on fire inside the facility. Car 2 responded, but Arkport units stayed at the station after the problem was immediately resolved by responding staff.

in March 5, at 11:24 a.m., firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation in the 8000 block of State Route 36 in the Town of Dansville. Car 201 arrived immediately and originally discovered that maintenance men were working on a water heater. After the units returned to service, 911 was notified of another alarm activation. Car 201 returned with alarm readings of around 125 parts per million and more than 60 parts per million on a handheld meter. Rescue 38 and Car 2 arrived to help ventilate the home and remove the carbon monoxide.

On March 6 at 12:08 p.m., the department responded with the City of Hornell Fire Department to West Avenue in the Village of Arkport for a medical call involving a patient experiencing significant abdominal pain. Medic 2 and Car 2 assisted with the reaction, and the New York State Police also arrived to help secure access to the area.
