Kingston, NY — February 10th — In the Town of Ulster, firefighters from the Ulster Hose Co. responded to a reported house fire. The Ulster Police Department arrived and reported a well-involved structure fire while units were on their way. Car 1 brought more personnel, mutual assistance, and utilities to the area after requesting a working fire assignment.

When firemen arrived, they discovered a one-story, 25-by-35-foot house with fire coming from the number four side and a lot of smoke throughout. Engine 3 arrived first, then Engine 4, which set up a water supply and secured a hydrant. Crews launched a fire attack after stretching two handlines. Other businesses helped with overhaul, ventilation, and searching. The scene was eventually given to investigators once the fire was contained and searches turned up nothing.
