Structure Fire on Quincy St. in Boston Goes to Three Alarms

BOSTON, MA - After having a second alarm fire just one hour earlier, Boston Fire dispatched an assignment to Quincy Street for a building fire on February 26th.
The alarm was sounded at approximately 9:00 P.M. while the fire alarm office was receiving multiple calls. Companies arrived to heavy fire showing from #41 Quincy, a three decker in a tight neighborhood. Fire was extending into the 'B' side exposure and second and third alarms were transmitted in following minutes.
Companies had the bulk of the fire knocked down in approximately 30 minutes and remained on scene into the early morning hours with extensive overhaul between the multiple buildings.
