Franklin Township Fire Department and EMS Mourn Passing of Former Chief John P. Migliaccio

February 2, 2026 — The Franklin Township Fire Department & EMS announced with heavy hearts its condolences to members of Glen Gardner Volunteer Fire Company Station 12 following the passing of past Chief John P. Migliaccio.


Fire officials expressed their thoughts and prayers to the Migliaccio family and the Glen Gardner fire community during this difficult time, honoring the chief’s years of leadership, dedication, and service to his department and community. Colleagues remembered him as a respected leader whose commitment to the fire service left a lasting impact.


“Rest easy, Chief — we’ll take it from here,” the department shared in tribute.
