Bogota, NJ - In the wee hours of 8th February at approximately 02:30 hours, the Bogota Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm at a business on West Fort Lee Road. Immediately after clearing the alarm, an engine was requested to a third-alarm fire on Broad Avenue in the City of Palisades Park.

Engine Company 1 responded and operated on scene for approximately three hours in bitter cold conditions before being released and returning to the borough. Temperatures felt like -14 degrees. Despite the extreme cold, volunteer members left their warm beds to answer the call and serve their community.
