SOMERS POINT, NJ - At approximately 12:00 p.m. on February 13th, the Somers Point Fire Department responded to a report of a struck gas main at the Paddle Club construction site, located at Bay and Pleasant Avenues. Crews from both companies remained on scene for approximately five hours while South Jersey Gas worked to contain the leak. During the incident, Scullville Volunteer Fire Company provided coverage for the city.
