Gulf Breeze, Florida — January 29th — Multiple 911 reports reported an overturned vehicle, prompting Midway Fire District units to go to a motor vehicle incident at Gulf Breeze Parkway and West Smugglers Cove. One vehicle was on its side when Engine 37, Truck 36, and Battalion 35 arrived. They started stabilizing the scene and providing patient care. Two individuals with minor injuries were evaluated by firefighters, who also administered initial care. Both were taken by Lifeguard EMS for additional assessment as a precaution. While traffic flowed through the intersection, crews maintained a safe operating environment, managed fluids, and secured hazards. Traffic control was aided by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office. The cause of the collision is being looked into by the Florida Highway Patrol. Coordinated response, according to officials, improves responder safety and patient care.
