February 16, 2026 – At approximately 5:25 a.m., Station 42 of East Windsor Vol. Fire Co. #1 was dispatched to a reported wires down incident in the Cranbury Manor section of the township. Upon arrival, crews secured the area and assessed the situation to ensure public safety. The incident was subsequently turned over to JCP&L upon their arrival, as utility personnel worked to restore power to affected residents. Chief 42, Deputy 42, and Tower 42 responded to the scene, demonstrating a coordinated effort to address the hazard during the early morning hours. No injuries were reported, and the situation was safely managed through the collaborative response of fire and utility services.
