RONKONKOMA, NY - On January 20th, the Ronkonkoma Fire Department was activated for a reported house fire on Avenue Court. 5-24-32 arrived on scene and found a small electrical fire on the side of the house.

Upon additional investigation, fire was found in the attic, as well as the first and second floors, and the working fire was reactivated. 5-24-12 arrived on scene, stretched two lines and started extinguishing fire. 5-24-11 arrived on scene with mutual aid, helped extinguish the fire and started primary searches.

The scene was placed under control within two hours.
