Pine City, NY - Webb's Mills Fire Department was dispatched for a reported barn fire. Upon arrival of the first chief officer, the incident was upgraded to a second alarm and the tanker task force was activated. Engine 1831 arrived first, followed closely by Tanker 1862. Due to the heavy fire conditions, operations were immediately declared defensive.

Crews operated for several hours to bring the fire under control and manage extensive overhaul. The department extends its appreciation to all mutual aid partners whose support was essential to the operation.

Agencies assisting on scene included Pine City, Southport, Caton, Big Elm (Daggett), Millerton, South Creek, Golden Glow, Wellsburg, Big Flats, Chemung County EMO, and Town of Southport Code Enforcement.
