Cherokee Crews Complete ASIM Training

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — January 29th — Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services recently participated in the Active Shooter Incident Management Advanced course with local and regional partners. The training focused on improving coordination, communication, and decision-making during complex, high-risk incidents.

First responders worked through realistic scenarios designed to test teamwork and strengthen unified command. The course emphasized rapid response, situational awareness, and safe operations in challenging environments. Officials said joint training helps agencies operate more effectively and supports better outcomes when seconds matter.
