KINGS BAY, GA — January 28th — Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Fire and Emergency Services acknowledged numerous members for their outstanding performance and commitment to the department's mission. The awards recognize the critical role that civilian staff and junior personnel play in everyday operations, training, and emergency preparedness at the post.

Ronney Blevins was selected Civilian of the Quarter, and Joseph Shusko got Junior Civilian of the Quarter. Michael Drawdy was named Junior Civilian of the Year. According to department officials, these awards demonstrate devotion, professionalism, and teamwork, all of which benefit both emergency response and base operations.
