ST. MARYS, GA — February 6th —The St. Marys Fire Department acknowledged two individuals for recent professional achievements that promote operational readiness and community involvement.
Firefighter Seth Strickland was recognized for earning his one-year anniversary promotion, which marked the end of his original probationary period and continuing advancement within the department. Firefighter Chris McCabe was recognized for earning Certified Firefighter status after completing Firefighter I and Firefighter II courses along with Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations training.
