Two-Car Crash with Entrapment in Newburgh

Newburgh, NY - The City of Newburgh FD responded to a two-vehicle crash with rollover at Robinson Ave. and Ann St., February 14th. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate an individual that was pinned inside the taxi involved in the crash. After being freed, the individual was then transported to Montefiore/St. Luke's Hospital by Mobile Life ALS. Robinson Avenue was closed during the accident. City of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
