East Putnam Fire Handles 41 Calls in January

The East Putnam Fire Department has released its call statistics for January 2026, which show consistent activity in both fire and medical replies. Throughout the month, the department handled 41 calls. Medical occurrences accounted for 23 responses, which constituted 56% of the workload. Fire-related calls totaled 18, or 44%. These instances included fire and carbon monoxide alarms, station coverage assignments, service calls, car accidents, smoke investigations, odor complaints, an appliance fire, and felled trees or wires.
