RIT and Interior Crews Deployed on Separate Fire Calls

On February 6th, the Owasco Fire Department responded to two distinct working fires in the Village of Weedsport, giving mutual aid both overnight and during the day. During the midnight fire, Owasco firefighters served as the second-due rapid intervention team, standing by to ensure firefighter safety during interior operations. Later in the afternoon, Owasco TP-1 responded to a second working fire, with workers working inside the structure when conditions permitted.
