King Ferry, NY — January 29th — The King Ferry Fire Department reported minor emergency action following the recent weekend winter storm that passed through the area. Despite the catastrophic weather conditions, the department responded to only one alarm throughout the storm, and officials stated that the event was not weather-related. The agency also thanked the Town of Genoa Highway agency, as well as county and state highway staff, for their efforts to keep roads open and safe throughout the storm.
