As towns commemorated Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Town Line Volunteer Fire Department used the opportunity to reflect on service and urge community participation. According to department officials, the fire service is only one of the many ways residents may help their neighbors. The department continues to look for volunteers for a number of positions, including interior and exterior firemen, as well as emergency medical workers. Members vary in age and background, with each bringing abilities that improve overall operations and teamwork.
