The Old Saybrook Fire Department had its annual meeting on Tuesday night, January 6th, during which members chose officers for the upcoming year. Chief of Department Joseph Johnson was elected to his tenth term, extending the department's long-standing leadership. Also elected were Deputy Chief William Heiney, Assistant Chief of Apparatus Bill DeCapua, Assistant Chief of Training John Guarnaccia, and Captain of Apparatus Ben Bagnati. President Steve Lesko, Vice President Dave LaMay, Secretary Tony Cronin, Assistant Secretary Max Sabrin, Treasurer Craig Morrow, and Assistant Treasurer Dave MacNeil were all elected as administrative officers.
