Yantic responds mutual aid to Franklin

At 1:13am on the morning of February 5th the Yantic Fire Engine Company #1 responded mutual aid to the area of 742 Route-32 in the Town of Franklin for an MVA with entrapment. Franklin and Yantic firefighters extricated one patient from a van that struck a tree. Yantic firefighters utilized Hurst battery powered extrication tools that were recently placed into service on their Rescue-3.
