Chester Hose Works With East Haddam on Middlesex Avenue Call

The Chester Hose Company Inc. responded to a reported chimney fire on Middlesex Avenue at around 8:31 p.m. on January 21. Valley Shore Communications responded to the event and requested mutual aid from surrounding agencies. The East Haddam Fire Department responded with Ladder 1-15, as requested by Chester Hose. Utility 2-15 and Car 15 both responded, bringing a total of nine people to the site. Crews collaborated to assist operations and make sure the situation was handled safely and quickly.
