Gardner, MA — January 12th — On the evening of January 12th, the Gardner Fire Department was called to the scene of a reported car accident at the intersection of Conant Street and Timpany Boulevard. Units from Group 3 were sent to help with the situation.

Firefighters arrived to discover two automobiles engaged, one of which had crashed into a nearby structure. In order to support emergency medical procedures, crews stabilized the site, secured both cars, and managed hazards. After emergency medical personnel assessed the passengers, those who were hurt were taken to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. In addition to helping with scene safety, firefighters collaborated with EMS and law police to control traffic and guarantee the safety of the area. Gardner Fire teams cleared and resumed operations once the situation had settled.
