Little Ferry Firefighters Attend Natural Gas Emergency Training in Rutherford

On January 29th, the Little Ferry Fire Department participated in a natural gas emergency training drill conducted by the Rutherford Fire Department. PSE&G conducted the exercise, which was available to all 5th Battalion departments. The course focused on recognizing and managing natural gas crises, utility collaboration, and firefighter safety considerations during gas-related accidents. Members from numerous Rutherford companies participated, along with firefighters from East Rutherford, Lyndhurst, Carlstadt, Wood-Ridge, Hasbrouck Heights, North Arlington, and Little Ferry.
