PARAMUS, NJ - Paramus Fire Company 2 responded as the first-due engine to a reported structure fire on January 1st, handling its first call of 2026. A second alert was sent due to the circumstances upon arrival, with three levels of the structure reported to be on fire. Engine 2 workers stretched and ran three hoselines, starting a fire attack and assisting with suppression efforts. Paramus Fire Company 2 operated alongside mutual aid partners as crews worked to control the fire.
