Stratford Firefighters Rescue Dog Trapped in Storm Drain

STRATFORD, NJ - On January 20th, Stratford Fire Department's Squad 64 responded to a reported animal rescue near Bryant Avenue and Laureba Avenue. When crews arrived, they discovered a dog stuck inside a storm drain. In order to remove the animal without injuring anyone, firefighters worked to safely access the drain. After being successfully set free, the dog was examined on the spot and given back to its owner. There were no reported injuries.
