Gloucester Township, NJ — January 10 — Tower Ladder 6 of the Pine Hill Fire Department, located at 1109 Erial Road, responded to a building fire at the Lakeview Apartment Complex in Gloucester Township's Blackwood neighborhood on Saturday morning. When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered that the leasing office building was completely on fire, but the surrounding residential flats were not in danger. The event was elevated to a second alarm in order to bring more resources to the area because of the conditions upon arrival. In order to assist with suppression operations, Tower Ladder 6 was put into action and began running its master stream. In order to check for hidden fire, the crew also helped with interior fire control, wall opening, and thorough overhaul. The incident command was in charge of putting the fire under control. There were no reported injuries.
