Magnolia, NJ — Jan. 5 — When a working home fire occurred in the Glendora Fire Company's first-due area, members of Magnolia Fire Company 29 responded as Quint Company 29 to the box alarm. Quint 29 worked as the designated ladder company upon arrival, finishing both exterior and interior tasks.

While Squad Company 81 handled suppression efforts, firefighters carried out a main search and helped with quick overhaul operations. In order to prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the building, crews used the incident command system to keep it contained to the garage area. Neither firefighters nor bystanders were reportedly hurt as the fire was put out. After extinguishment, local authorities looked into the occurrence. An efficient and secure reaction was made possible by well-coordinated mutual aid operations.
