North Brunswick Crews Tackle Second-Alarm Basement Fire

Firefighters were called to a reported basement fire at 340 Church Lane in North Brunswick shortly after 7 p.m. on January 17.

Conditions upon arrival prompted a second alert request. Engine 203 of the North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Department arrived ahead of schedule and started fighting the fire. As more units were dispatched to the area, crews worked to contain the fire. The North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad, the North Brunswick Police Department, and North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Companies Nos. 1, 2, and 3 participated in the response.
