East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 members assembled at Station 42 on January 10 for a swearing-in ceremony honoring the department's 2026 Fire and House Officers and presenting the 2025 Firefighter of the Year award. Ben Josephson received the 2025 Firefighter of the Year Award in honor of his commitment to the department. Chief Jay Laughlin, Deputy Chief Kevin Brink, Assistant Chief Carl Woodward, Captain Dan Swope, and Lieutenants Andrew Sullivan, Dan Quigley, and Josephson comprise the 2026 Fire Officers.
