Glen Gardner Fire Company Honors Life and Service of Chief “Gibby” Gibson

Following the death of former Hampton Fire Company Chief Robert Gibson, popularly known as "Gibby," the Glen Gardner Fire Company No. 1 sent condolences on January 13. Chief Gibson committed his life to service, serving his country in the US Army during World War II after initially defending his hometown as a member of Hampton Fire Company Station 13. One of the most significant moments in his military career was arriving on the Normandy beaches on D-Day.

Along with Gibson's family and friends, Glen Gardner Fire Company sent their sympathies to Hampton Fire Company, honoring a life marked by dedication, selflessness, and leadership.Chief Gibson's remarkable life of service to humanity is remembered with gratitude and respect.
