Dividing Creek, NJ — January 23 — In response to an emergency medical services call, the Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team arrived in Dividing Creek. Utility 39 and QRV 39 were sent to assist on-scene EMS personnel. While EMS personnel finished patient assessment and care, firefighters contributed extra personnel and helped with scene coordination. The units stayed on site to assist with patient mobility, access requirements, and keeping responders' workspaces safe.

In order to support medical operations and enhance responder safety, fire-rescue units are frequently called to EMS occurrences throughout the township. EMS personnel can concentrate on patient care while handling other responsibilities thanks to these synchronized reactions. Both units were freed by command and put back into service when EMS operations were over.
