Downe Twp Fire/Rescue Responds to EMS Incident

Fortescue, NJ — January 21 — In response to an emergency medical services call, the Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team arrived in Fortescue. Utility 39 was sent to assist on-site EMS personnel. While EMS personnel evaluated and treated the patient, firefighters helped with scene coordination and supplied extra personnel. Throughout the crisis, the unit was still accessible to assist with patient mobility, access concerns, and keeping responders' workspace safe.


In order to support medical operations and enhance overall responder safety, fire-rescue units are frequently requested on EMS calls around the township. While other chores are handled, EMS teams can continue to concentrate on patient care thanks to these synchronized responses. Utility 39 was freed by command and put back into service following the conclusion of EMS operations.
