Wenonah Fire Company Officers Sworn In at Borough Reorganization

Wenonah, NJ — January 7 — Members of the Wenonah Volunteer Fire Company attended the department's 2026 line officers' swearing-in ceremony during the yearly Borough Reorganization. The oath of office was delivered by Mayor Doheny; Assistant Chief Pedersen is not shown.


Additionally, Jack Lerner, the business president, received the 2025 Member of the Year Award from Fire Chief Nessler. Lerner's ongoing leadership, assistance with department operations, and dedication to the membership were mentioned by department officials. Karel Black, a member of the Wenonah fire company family, was also honored that evening as a co-recipient of the Wenonah Volunteer of the Year Award. The event emphasized community involvement, leadership, and service throughout the borough.
